Standardization in the International Registration of Trademarks

The Madrid Agreement and the Madrid Protocol for the International Registration of Trademarks compose a established system for the protection of a trademark in a large number of countries by filing a single international application.

Algeria was the last of the 95 members of the Madrid System to accede to the Madrid Protocol. The accession will enter into force on October 31, 2015 and will put aside several differences, to which until now one had to pay attention once the trademark protection in Algeria was intended.

Weickmann & Weickmann is pleased to assist you with the development of individual strategies for the protection of trademarks in Germany and worldwide.
