On 21 January 2026, Mr. Marco Esser (Global Marketing Director of our client LIQUI MOLY GmbH) and WEICKMANN partner Dr. Udo W. Herberth, together with Mr. Lei Zhao, Senior Partner from our longstanding Chinese partner law firm Unitalen Attorneys at Law, visited the Market Supervision Administration of Zhejiang Jinhua. We expressed our sincere gratitude to the authority for their hard work and support during a raid against counterfeit products.

The Market Supervision Administration is responsible for matters including market supervision, product quality supervision, food safety supervision, and the implementation of anti-counterfeiting, anti-monopoly and anti-unfair competition measures. Local authorities are the primary enforcement teams.
