Promoting inspiration, protecting innovation – WEICKMANN supports the Deutsches Museum

On May 1, 1903, Oskar von Miller sent out a letter proposing the foundation of a museum association. The letter was addressed to Wilhelm Conrad Röntgen, Carl von Linde, Georg Krauß, Hugo von Maffei, Carl Duisberg, and Rudolf Diesel, among others, some of whom Miller knew from school.

This was the beginning of what we now know as the Deutsches Museum in Munich.

WEICKMANN, which at that time had already been involved in innovation and intellectual property protection for 20 years, is now a member of the Friends and Sponsors of the Deutsches Museum. We are delighted about this!
